Used Equipment and Want Ads:

Members of the Southern Syrupmakers Association can now post items “for sale” and “want ads” on the http://www.southernsyrupmakers.com classifieds web page.  Postings should be limited to a few sentences and related to the production of syrup.  Photos cannot be posted, but the posting can reference other web sites like www.flickr.com where pictures of the equipment can be posted and viewed by others. 

The SSA Classifieds web page will be updated during the first week of each month.  Items can be submitted by sending email to forsale@southernsyrupmakers.com.   Postings should be submitted at least five days before the end of the month and are good through the end of the following month (30 days).  Postings can be renewed each month as often as needed by sending an email to forsale@southernsyrupmakers.com.  

New Equipment:

SSA members that manufacture new syrup production equipment can request a year-long “for sale” posting for the products they are manufacturing.  Posting can then be renewed on a yearly basis.  For questions or posting please send email to forsale@southersyrupmakers.com.

Seed Cane and Sorghum Seed Producers Directory:

The Southern Syrupmakers web page now has a section for members to be listed as  sugarcane ” seed cane” and/or sorghum seed producers.  SSA members that want to be listed as “seed cane” and/or sorghum seed producers should send email to forsale@southernsyrupmakers.com.  The postings are good for one year and can be renewed annually.  Postings should include contact information and specify if varieties are sugarcane “seed cane” stalks or sorghum seed.
